Safety Disaster Plan

We now have a Safety Disaster Plan! Thanks to our good citizen Joan Henderson! Together we have coordinated 3 sites for disaster relief, Peetz School, Sacred Heart Church, and Peetz United Methodist Church.

Residents of Peetz if your address is North St., Logan St., or Main St. you will be welcome to sit out the situation at the United Methodist Church. There will be a Red Emergency Sign on the Basement Door.

Residents living in the Streets of Louisa St., Emiline St., and Gardiner St., are welcome to meet at the Sacred Heart Church. Don Fehringer will unlock the door of the Basement that will be marked with a Red Emergency Sign.

Residents living on Avenue streets Railway Ave., Van Valkenburg Ave., Dunken Ave., and Shaw Ave., will be welcome to stay at the Peetz School basement. Please use the south door near the kitchen, there will be a red Emergency sign marking the right door to use. The Fire Dept will unlock the door at the time of need.

This is a great opportunity to let family members know where you would most likely go if there was ever a crisis in our community. The Peetz Town Board is supplying each site with a Flashlight, Weather Band Radio and Walkie- Talkies to communicate with each site. Some may prefer to weather the crisis in their own home, this is fine. We would like to foresee any confusion before the crisis moment. If we have forgotten anyone please let the Peetz Town Hall know.
